How to add a Challenge

This article will run you through how to add a Challenge to LEO.

Once you have a paid license on LEO you will be able to add Challenges to the LEO platform. To start adding a new Challenge, you can either click the card on the dashboard overview or you can use the button below.

Onboarding

If you're adding a Challenge for the first time, you'll be taken through an onboarding process to help you out. If you ever want to go through this onboarding again, you can activate it by clicking the help button in the bottom right.

Create

The first step of the creation process will ask you for a few required fields need to create the initial instance of your challenge. You'll need to add a title, strapline, sector, deadline, organisation and logo to create your challenge. Once your done click continue setup

Design

After your challenge has been created you will be taken to a visual editor where you can amend your images, colours and the text for your challenge, please take your time to fill in this information accurately so as to assist people applying to your challenge. Once your happy click continue setup.

Users

If you want assistance in administering your challenge you can add users to your challenge. These will need to be people that are already registered on the platform. You will have to add the email they registered with and click add user. At this point they will be added as an user. You can also assign one of these users as the owner of the challenge. The owner will be able to add more users and set responses to applications. Once happy click Continue Setup.

Vetting

For the final step you can add vetting questions to your challenge. These should be used to help filter out and deter irrelevant applications. We suggest adding at least two questions. You can choose from, Dropdown, Checkboxes, Radio Buttons and Textarea for your questions. Once you've added these click "Submit for review".

Review Process

Once you click submit for review your challenge will be sent over to us for a review process where we'll check to make sure your challenge is set up in the best way to help attract applications and provides enough detail to innovators or experts. We'll get in touch with you once we've done the review which will take up to 1 business day. Pending a successful review your challenge will be published.
