Corporates use the LEO platform to try and find solutions to their problems. We facilitate this by providing portals to run Challenges on our platform.

You may apply to any active Challenge on this page.

Challenge Details

Each Challenge will have unique reasons for applying and other useful information that you should read before clicking apply. You can find these details under two sections linked from the Network's navigation, 'Summary' and 'How it works'. For some Challenges, only the summary will be shown.

Clicking Apply

If you are not logged in or do not already have a LEO account, you will be asked to register or login. After registering or logging in, you will be redirected to the next step in the process.

If you are logged in, you will be taken to a page where you may be offered multiple choices of application type. The three types of application you could see are Innovations, Experts and Contributors. If you don't see one of these options, then the Challenge is not open to that type of application. If you are applying with an innovation and the option is displayed, please click it and this will take you to the next step.

Selecting or Adding an Innovation

If you already have innovations on LEO that you have not applied to this Challenge with, then you will see a dropdown where you will be able to select an existing innovation. Selecting this will either take you straight to the final step if your innovation is fully complete, or if your innovation is only partially complete, it will ask you to complete the innovation's details.

If you do not already have an existing innovation on the platform, you will be able to click the card to add a new innovation. Complete your new innovation to 100% and you will be able to continue to the final step.

Vetting

Depending on each Challenge's requirements, the final step may require you to answer additional vetting questions specific to this Challenge. All of these questions are required to be answered for you to complete your application. You will also be asked to add an optional cover note for your application. If applying with an innovation, you will be able to tick whether you require an NDA to be signed to provide more detail.

Review and Submit

After submitting your vetting, you will be taken to a page where you can either click buttons to go back and edit your vetting or innovation, or if your happy with your application, you can click submit.

What Next?

After clicking submit on the review and submit page, your application is complete. It will be reviewed either by our internal team or by the company hosting the Challenge. Each company reviews their innovations with a different process so please be patient as you may not hear a response as quickly as you'd like. Once it has been reviewed you will receive an email to let you know if it has been approved or disapproved. We strongly suggest you turn on your platform notifications to make sure you get these emails.

There is no guarantee that you will receive a response from the company running the Challenge or network. It is up to the companies discretion.
